In October my painting group hung an exhibit at the Groton Center. We had the honor of having the first display in the gallery of this new community building. Our paintings hung until early May – extended by two months as the building was closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. This show included works by seven artists. We have met almost every Monday morning for many years to paint and to learn by critiquing each others’ work. We were saddened by the death of one member shortly after we hung this show. We will miss her laughter, her creative painting style and insightful critique. Our group has not met since late March, and our resumption of group efforts has not yet been determined.
Exhibit at Gallery 529
Tomorrow morning my painting group will not be painting – we’ll be hanging our work for exhibit at Gallery 529 in Littleton. The exhibit will open on Tuesday, June 2 and run through the month of July. There will be an artist’s reception at 4:00 p.m. on June 14 at the Gallery.

Several of my paintings will be on display in the Narthex Gallery, First Parish Church of Groton from September through the end of December. Look for them in the cases at the bottom of the staircases at the front of the church.

This was my first exhibit – I’d been painting for almost two years.
